devlog digest <3 coffee game jam 2024 recap !

day 1-2:

  • concept art, palette,  plot, pseudocode outline 
  • created menu, scene flowcharts + 
  • script tasklist 
  • studied café style game logic (never done this kindof cozy lil game)
  • studied modelling/blender (been a while) & 3D design for godot 4 (this is my first 3D game! i went for a SH3 blooded game) 

day 3-8:

  • created meshes (ghosts, landscape, player character + + +) 
  • animated Clovis' walk cycle + (that's his name! he's just a lil lamb! you play as him! he's a lil sailor guy with a warm light!) 
  • coded EVERYTHING (player movement, dialog system, affection points, signals+)  

day 9:

  • coded Café Mode 
  • added SFX & BGM  & fixed audio buses 
  • first upload! (cut some stuff to fit the 1GB upload limit)
